 Welcome back to our journey into this project. As you can see from our previous three blogs we've been thoroughly researching what possible genres we feel cou ld best align w ith our pitch " A woman and man get ready to go on a date. They go to an Italian restaurant and have a lovely dinner. She's secretly a spy for the government and he's one of the most wanted assassins in the world. They decide to take a walk and he takes a mysterious turn into a dark, creepy alleyway. The woman and man both realize that they are on a mission to eliminate each other. Who will make it out alive?" Due to our pitch, we decided to research  mystery, thriller, and horror.  We thought of Mystery because we felt as though the concept of the unknown would make it easy to attract the viewer's attention. Similarly, we thought of Thriller because it’s similar to Mystery in terms of using the unknown to its advantage. Finally, we thought horror because we like the aspect of something

  Hi everyone welcome back! It's time for us to come up with our pitch. Join us as we discuss!  Pitch #1  A girl makes her own spooky Halloween mask to go trick or treating. She decides to glue a lock of her own hair to the mask. As she puts on the mask it comes to life and takes over her body. She lurks in the neighborhood and terrorizes the night.           This year, my group is a little different. I'm working with Isa, Brianna, and Savannah. I've known Isa and Brianna since last year in debate and they are amazing people. They are super reliable and helpful whenever I'm confused on my math homework. I love working with them so I chose them to be in my group this year. I've known Savannah since last year too but recently got close to her. She is super funny and a great person to be around. She also has a great work ethic as well as my other groupmates. I know she will be amazing in our group. Last year I worked with Isa and she was a good person to have. She always got her work in on time and made sure the rest of us did as well. Brianna always can lighten up a mood and I know she will be great to have when times get a little stressful. I can't wait to start my project this year with my group.      Hello! My name is Lauren Reitman and I am a junior in high school. I'm super excited to be starting this project. Let me start off by introducing my hobbies. Some of my favorite hobbies are watching shows, debating, painting, and video games. I also love reviewing films with my friends. Watching any film and having an intellectual conversation about it is one of my favorite things to do. Some of my favorite genres are thriller, romance, and action. I'm great at acting, in my opinion, and I aspire to go down a career path that involves film. I have done many plays in the past and am currently in speech and debate. In speech and debate, I do the speech aspect where I can act and create characters for my pieces. I have won multiple awards in debate and have gone on many trips out of state to compete.
