 Another one of the genres we chose to research was Thriller. Attached is a PowerPoint of all of the research we got for it.

 Welcome back to our journey into this project! As you could see from our previous 3 blogs we’ve been thoroughly researching what possible genres we feel could best align with our pitch “A successful attorney encounters a woman in distress whom he later regrets rejecting.” After talking it out we decided to investigate 3 main genres: Mystery, Thriller, and Romance. We thought of Mystery because we felt as though the concept of the unknown would make it easy to attract the viewer's attention. Similarly, we thought of Thriller because it’s similar to Mystery in terms of using the unknown to its advantage. Finally, we also thought of Romance as we felt that perhaps a part of this unknown aspect we liked could include a lover. After selecting our 3 to choose from we began to research. The New and Improved Plan!!

Hello!! It's been a couple of days and I've had the chance to talk to my group about what the plan will be. For the time being, I'm still trying to work on a day that everyone is available. This has turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated.  But for now, here is the plan... Savannah bought the props for the movie on Amazon. When those come in about a week, the scenes in the park will be able to be recorded. In the meantime, Isa and her boyfriend live close to each other so they can record their scenes together easily. They will record their scenes together. The ones that can be easily recorded at least.  Once they get those clips, I will start editing them together and add the music. I already found a couple of songs that can be used in the movie. The platform I will use to edit will be iMovie. In the next week or so, my group will get together and we will record the park scenes.   Hi everyone welcome back! It's time for us to come up with our pitch. Join us as we discuss!  Pitch #1  A girl makes her own spooky Halloween mask to go trick or treating. She decides to glue a lock of her own hair to the mask. As she puts on the mask it comes to life and takes over her body. She lurks in the neighborhood and terrorizes the night. The police go on a wild goose chase to find her. But will they ever be able to find her? I guess we'll never know. *insert evil laugh* Pitch #2 A woman and man get ready to go on a date. They go to an Italian restaurant and have a lovely dinner. She's secretly a spy for the government and he's one of the most wanted assassins in the world. They decide to take a walk and he takes a mysterious turn into a dark, creepy alleyway. The woman and man both realize that they are on a mission to eliminate each other.
