Recording - Production Blog

Santa and I started recording on November 21st as scheduled. I started getting to work on the shots in the studio. These shots were needed for the first shot and last shot of the music video. I cleaned up the studio where their shots were going to be taken and my group and I got to work. I had the camera person position themselves in front of the door for the shot. I put the headphones on to make myself look like I'm listening to the beat of the song and about to rap. After the first shot, my group recorded the same shot a couple more times. This was to insure that the perfect shot was taken for the video. Unfortunately, my group and I only had a small amount of time to record. I got 2 scenes recorded and perfected for the video. My group and I also recorded more shots at Dania Pointe. The shot where I snitch on Santa was taken under the stairs at a bowling alley. I forgot the water gun at home, so instead my group decided to go to 5 and Below. I couldn't find any water guns so instead, I got a Nerf gun. This worked surprisingly well considering I planned on using a water gun. My group and I walked around Dania Pointe to find the perfect places to shoot the shots needed. I made sure to take multiple shots of every clip my group and I recorded. Making sure all the shots were close to perfect was and is my top priority. Now my group and I only have a couple more scenes to record. After that, I will be able to put all the scenes together and make the final music video!
